a.) 氮化矽 (Si3N4)

優點 :

(1) 耐強酸及強鹼之腐蝕性工作環境。

(2) 抗強磁場環境。

(3) 可在高速及高負載下之環境使用，因而特別是用於高速軸承且當超過負載時，Si3N4其具有先兆的剝落方式出現。

b.) 氧化鋯 (ZrO2)

優點 : 高強度、高韌度及耐磨損。

缺點 : 不可以在氫氟酸及強鹼之工作環境下運作。

c.) 氧化鋁 (Al2O3)

優點 : 在一般之耐酸鹼及耐磨損之工作環境可普遍使用。

缺點 : 不可以在氫氟酸及強鹼之工作環境下運作。
