BN

Boron Nitride Ceramic exhibits outstanding thermal properties, with particularly remarkable heat resistance. It can be used directly in oxidizing atmospheres at 1000°C or inert atmospheres up to 3000°C.Additionally, boron nitride ceramic demonstrates excellent chemical stability. It does not react with most metals, such as molten iron, aluminum, copper, and silicon, nor does it undergo changes when in contact with slag or glass. Due to its high chemical inertness, it serves as an ideal material for high-performance containers in demanding environments.

Material Applications

  1. Suitable as a release agent for metal forming and a lubricant for metal wire drawing.

  2. Suitable as a special electrolytic and resistive material under high-temperature conditions.

  3. Suitable as a high-temperature solid lubricantanti-wear additiveadditive for ceramic composite productionrefractory material, and antioxidant additive.

  4. Suitable as a desiccant for transistor heat sealing and an additive for polymer materials such as plastic resins.

  5. Pressed boron nitride products in various shapes can be used as high-temperature, high-pressure, insulating, and heat-dissipating components.

  6. Suitable as a thermal shielding material in aerospace and aviation applications.

  7. Under the presence of a catalyst, it can be transformed into cubic boron nitride (CBN)—a material as hard as diamond—through high-temperature and high-pressure processing.
